those greens tho…
massive pile of steamed chard, broccoli, spinach, asparagus, & Chinese broccoli w. a creamy [#organic #nongmo] sweet corn dip • this was followed by 1 head of romaine lettuce & 2 lbs of the most delicious baby potatoes! #carbup

Anonymous asked: hi, i was reading the ask about being 70% vegan, and well i take medication to help out with my anxiety, which i know isnt vegan, so ive always classed myself as 99% vegan, but i try every other way? am i still vegan or?

vegasmo:

You are vegan when you do everything within your power to be. You are not when you claim to be “x” amount of time or “x%”.

when I upped my fruit intake I found that it virtually eliminated my anxiety which I had suffered from basically my entire life. fruit raises serotonin levels in the brain which helps combat anxiety and depression. typically, depression and anxiety are consequences of not eating enough carbs and thus restricting them. when our brains get enough sugar (natural not refined) we are better able to cope with daily struggles. carb up baby so you can go vegan all the way! 😁😁😁🙌🍍👅💥

mmm, basically everything that’s wrong with the world in this small bacon bowl box; from our treatment of animals to the exploitation of workers to world hunger, world wide diseases and right on down to climate change and our destruction of non-renewable resources all in the name of meat and stupid damn shit like a freaking BACON BOWL!

Fair trade Pineapple from Whole Foods, worth every penny! I love pineapple, but commercial and imported pineapple is usually so unripe and acidic that it legit makes my mouth bleed! This one was perfect- juicy and sweet and a nice golden color!

this is my go to salad as of late; mixed greens, herbs from our little garden (especially MINT! so into mint as of late) super wrinkly & sweet grape tomatoes, and I’ve been interchanging two amazingly tasty and simple dressings using #canejuice! I also offer alternative recipes if cane juice isn’t available to you that are just as delicious! check out the blog: (www.rawfoodnerd.blogspot.com)
